Day 29: Feet...
Day 30: Toy...
Day 31: Where you relax...
I am cheating the system and using a photo taken from where I relax, of me using my favorite toy and showing my feet. Our couch is super comfy I relax here most of the time. For some reason I never nap in my bed. I nap on the couch.
This past Christmas I received my new favorite toy, my computer! Which is totally a toy for adults. I love it and use it daily. Preston always jokes he is going to wrap it up for the next two Christmas mornings since it was a bigger gift. The one I was using was 7 years old. So not waiting several minutes for an application I click to open has been magical.
And my toes are sporting their first Spring color! "Fiesta" by Essie. I love this punchy pink. My toes are celebrating the warm weather.
Photo a day has been fun. I can't decide if I will do April yet. I might be a sporadic participant.

My Name & Trash
Day 27: Your Name...
After I got married this was the first envelope I got addressed to "Mr and Mrs Preston Thomas" and because I am a dork who adores her hubby I took a photo. It was so exciting for me to get this envelope. I know it's super cheesy and someone writing this would induce a huge eye roll before I got hitched but I loved it.
Day 28: Trash...
So ACTUAL trash is yucky so here is a photo of yummy trash (aka "junk" food). Preston and I drove on a whim to San Diego after Christmas and this was one of my favorite spots we found while out and about. I have a serious sweet tooth. It's an actual problem. Delish!

Days 25 & 26
Day 25: Breakfast...
This is what happens when you buy treats for your Sunday school class only to get to church and realize it is fast Sunday! So we had to bring the doughnuts home. Diet starts on Monday!
Day 26: Key...
My two key chains are one from Sports Center and a Coach charm key chain of New York. My dear friend Megan gave me the Coach key chain at my wedding. She knew how much I already missed New York and how much I love Coach. I am obsessed with it still. I love the little taxi!

Teenage Logic
So Preston and I are at the checkout line in Winco near a big bin of deodorant and a group of 4 high school girls walked into the line behind us.
Girl 1: Ooo Degree for only $1
Girl 2: Um... Degree is like ghetto you don't use that right?!
Girl 3: I don't even know what I use. I think I use Dove?
Girl 4: I use whatever my brother has, I steal his. I don't even have any.
Girl 1: Yeah I steal my brother's Axe all the time. It's not that bad.
Girl 2: My sister and I use Secret.
Girl 3: Did you guys know that guys deodorant is actually better for women?
Girls 1, 2 & 4: NO WAY!
A few things - I am pretty sure men's Axe is worse than Degree so all signs point to girl 1 being "ghetto" as determined by girl 2 who I think is a little uppity about the type of antiperspirant used among her friends. I am sure I had equally ridiculous conversations as a 16 year old. I suddenly had flash backs to my mother cracking up while listening to me and my girl friends and it made a little sense. But this conversation actually went on much longer. I wonder if they noticed the looks Preston and I were shooting each other. I might have to document conversations with any future teenagers we have for laughs later.

An Animal
Day 23: Moon...
Sadly we have been fairly cloudy, although warm, the last few days. So I am putting down an "I Owe You." I will make good on it as soon as I am able!
Day 24: An Animal...
So, I am not a huge fan of animals. Don't get me wrong, I think puppies are cute and I am anti animal cruelty. I just have zero desire to ever own an animal. Most of my friends put their dogs etc outside when I come over because they love me and know I am uncomfortable with prolonged animal contact. So the closest I have come to having a photo of an animal is a shot from watching "Tabitha Takes Over" today. She revamped a dog grooming shop. And can I just say, I was a little (OK a lot) horrified that anyone would want to do this job. There truly is a calling for all types of people.

Days 20-22
Day 20: Before / After...
So I am cheating and taking a picture that I have had for a while for this one. My cute friend Rachael was my first model for Beacon and let me make her over. Beacon is a contest I entered for students and the winners get to go to fantastic workshops with big names in the industry. So my fingers are still crossed! I should find out next month if I got in.
Day 21: Delicious...
We had the Relief Society birthday party this week. Relief Society is the organization in our church for the women. It is always great and uplifting to learn from other women. I'm a big advocate of building each other up and supporting each other. The birthday is a celebration to remember the day it was established. We had delicious vanilla and strawberry cupcakes in the center of our tables. I thought it was so adorable how it was put together. The theme was "royalty" to remind us that we are all royalty to our Heavenly Father.
Day 22: Kitchen Sink...
This one is a bit boring but here is our kitchen sink! Equipped with soap, hand sanitizer & dish scrubbers. Like any clean freak would have :)

Day 18 & 19
Day 18: A Corner of your home...
I love this corner because it looks so comfy. This is such a great chair. It is my favorite place to read when I am home by myself. And the bookshelf has three of my favorite things; books, movies and photographs. Not to mention our huge tennis ball from when we went to the US Open in New York. I love our home!
Day 19: Funny...
You will not find a funnier crew than the Lomeli side of our family. We got to spend Sunday with my Dad's side and we had so much fun eating, talking and laughing. You are guaranteed a happy tummy and soar cheeks from smiling when you see them. We had so much fun and just loved spending time with everyone. For this one I am using a few pictures, not just one :)

Day 15, 16 & 17
I slacked a bit because I have been feeling under the weather. BUT here we go...
Day 15: Car...
I drove this bad boy for 7 years! It's an '88 Toyota Camry. When I saw that day 15 was "car" all I could think about was this one. My car after this was a Honda Civic and it felt like a Porsche in comparison. I only got to drive the Civic for about 6 months before I moved to New York and sold it. So I have a huge appreciation for power windows and locks, AC that works and comfortable seats haha.
Day 17: Green...
It's hard to see in the picture but I attempted a green smokey eye today. MAC has a shadow I love called "Club." If you put it straight on your eye lid it looks more brown. But if you smudge a brown pencil over your lid first, like magic the shadow comes on super green. Something about the base color being there brings out the true color of the shadow. You should give it a try!

Day 16: Sunglasses...
Well these are my favorite pair of sunglasses, but not just because they are cute. I had the privilege of being a bridesmaid for one of my best friends, Megan, a couple years ago. It was such a fun event and it was the first time all 9 of us girls in our group were together for a long time! These lovely glasses were part of our bridesmaid gifts. And every time I wear them I think of her big day and how much love was there.

Days 13 & 14
I think I like doing these two at a time.
Day 13: A Sign...
In case you are not aware, do not put a plugged in blow dryer into the tub.
Day 14: Clouds...
The way the clouds were covering the top of the mountain today was beautiful! I don't usually love the mountains here in the Spring/Summer because without the snow they are kind of poppy brown. But the snow is still there and they are gorgeous!

Survey Says...
So my beautiful friend Rachel tagged me in her meme post. Meaning I answer the questions she has listed and then tag new people to answer my own set of questions! I am excited to play along. It has been a long time since I have done one of these, back in the day when they were done via e-mail. :) I'm hoping at least one friend I tagged at the end will do it.
I was asked:
1. What is your number one desired travel destination?
GREECE! Ever since I studied it in 6th grade I've been completely obsessed. It's gorgeous, the water is deep blue, I love the white buildings in the hills and I'm dying to see the ruins. One day...
2. What would you do if you were granted a day without any responsibilities?
I would have a large brunch, shop for a few hours and then go home to chocolate and bad TV. LOVE this plan. Now if Preston got it with me it would be the same except he would make me watch quality television programming.
3. Aside from something responsible (paying off debt, down payment on a house, saving) what is something you'd buy if someone gave you $100,000?
If I can't be responsible then SHOP! I would buy multiple pairs of glittery Christian Louboutin heels. I would die for some red bottomed beauties. And I would buy a fantastic bag. I would use the rest to go on a trip with Preston, maybe Greece would finally come true!
4. What is a favorite memory from college?
Oh goodness, let's see... my mind is being flooded right now and I cannot pick one. There was a night where my roommates and I decided to be very mature play truth or dare. This was during my senior year and I was living at Belmont. Prank calling, streaking and waking people up by banging on windows occurred. We laughed for hours on end and stayed up until 3:00 am being children. It was fantastic.
5. What is a song that has a strong tie to a great memory?
I went to Vegas with my girl friend Karynn and we decided "Apple Bottom Jeans" was our song because it was being played everywhere we went. We did not take into account that it had just become hot on the charts. It was obviously because it was our theme song for an amazing weekend.
6. How old were you when you had your first kiss?
I was a few days away from 16. My parent's said I could go on a date for the 4th of July since I was 5 days away from turning 16. We went and watched the fire works from the local race track. First date, first kiss. Sorry Mom lol
7. What is your all time favorite tv show?
Hands down, "Friends." I have watched it continually for the last 13 years and it hasn't gotten old once. I get annoyed watching it on TV because I memorize them and know when something is being cut out. I may have an addiction.
8. Who is your celebrity crush?
I have many. Tyrese Gibson and Channing Tatum are up there on my list. I feel like it changes depending on my mood and if the crush has recently proven himself a jerk face in the media.
9. What is one of your favorite Sunday activities?
Watching football with my husband. Relaxing and lounging!
10. What is something or someone you think is extremely overrated?
Tim Tebow. Sorry, but I said it.
11. Have you ever skinny dipped?
I have not actually, although I almost did several times.
I tag Karynn, Krista and Jacquelyn.
YOUR questions are:
1. What do you always have to have in your purse?
2. If you could choose to be best friends with one celebrity who would it be?
3. If money were no object, what would you do for a living?
4. What's your favorite memory with ME? :)
5. What movie could/do you watch over and over?
6. Who are your favorite male and female singers?
7. If you received one wish from a genie what would it be? (No wishing for more wishes - Play by the Aladdin rules)
8. If you could live anywhere where would you live?
9. If you could "get rid" of one celebrity who would it be?
10. What is your worst or best story evolving snow?
11. Are you addicted to Pinterest? If so, what's the recipe or craft you tried from there that went wrong?

Weekend Edition
Saturday was so busy I didn't get a chance to post my photo. So here is the weekend at once!
Day 10: Loud...
Our dishwasher is SO LOUD. I am very thankful that we have one. Two years in New York without one made me appreciate this noisy machine. But I look forward to a nice quite machine one day! It is a bit impossible to watch TV or sleep when this bad boy is running.
Day 11: Someone you talked to...
My amazing parents Skype with us most Sundays and so today we got to talk to them! I couldn't figure out how to take a photo of the screen through Skype, anyone know how? So I took one with my phone.
I have to say I have missed them a LOT lately. I always do, but I haven't felt this homesick for them and Seattle in a while. I am so happy we have technology that allows me to see their faces and have more personal conversations with them. It is something Preston and I look forward to on Sundays. We love you Mom and Dad!

Wedding Invitation Mystery
So with March brings in the wedding season! I love weddings and cannot wait for some of our close friends to tie the knot. We have quite a few invitations on our ribbon board right now. But never before have I gotten an invitation from someone I have never met.
We received one in the mail from a couple that neither of us knew! We consulted our parents thinking that they gave our address out to a family friend and we just didn't know their kids, siblings etc... But alas, our parents didn't know them either.
So on to the Facebook stalking! Neither of us are friends with either the bride or the groom. No mutual friends with the bride and only 2 mutual friends between the two of us with the groom. And yet, we cannot find an answer as to how we know the lovely couple. For some reason I find this hilarious and I REALLY want to know when we met them. Because the invitation is definitely addressed to Preston and I, and was sent to our apartment. I am stumped...

Day 7
So I am joining the game a week late. But I have loved seeing my friends participate in the photo a day challenge over the last few months and I want to do it too! So starting now, I am in.
Day 7: Something you wore...
I cannot tell you how happy I am that it is sunny enough to be wearing sunglasses! It really makes me happy even though it is still chilly outside. Gives me hope Spring is already on it's way. I am welcoming in the glorious sunshine.
